Project Creation Process

Starting a New Project

Create a new project through a simple 3-step process in the dashboard.

Step 1: Access Project Creation

  1. Click "New Project": Located in the dashboard projects section
  2. Project Modal: Opens a clean, step-by-step project creation interface
  3. Project Limits: Check that you haven't reached your plan's project limit

Step 2: Project Information

Required Details:

  • Project Name: Enter a unique name for your project (e.g., "My Awesome Project")
  • Project Type: Select from three main categories:
    • Website: Web applications, static sites, progressive web apps
    • API: Backend services, REST APIs, microservices
    • Mobile: Mobile applications and cross-platform solutions

Step 3: Framework Selection

Framework options automatically update based on your selected project type:

Website Frameworks:

  • React, Vue, Angular, Svelte
  • Next.js, Nuxt.js, Gatsby, Remix, Astro
  • And many more modern web frameworks

API Frameworks:

  • Node.js, Express.js, Fastify, NestJS
  • Django, Flask, FastAPI
  • Spring Boot, Laravel, Rails
  • Go Gin, Rust frameworks

Mobile Frameworks:

  • React Native, Flutter, Ionic
  • Native iOS, Native Android
  • Expo, Xamarin, Unity

Step 4: Optional Configuration

  • Git URL: Optionally connect to an existing Git repository

Project Creation Completion

  1. Review Summary: Final step shows your project configuration
  2. Create Project: Click "Create Project" to finalize
  3. Return to Dashboard: Project appears in your dashboard projects list
  4. Next Steps: Access blueprint generation and IDE features

  • Project Name: Display name and identifier

  • Active/Inactive: Toggle project visibility and access
  • Last Modified: Track recent updates and changes
  • Development Stage: Ready for blueprint generation

Project Management

After Project Creation

Once your project is created, you can:

  • Generate Blueprint: Create AI-powered project blueprints
  • Open IDE: Access the integrated development environment
  • Edit Project: Modify project name, framework, or Git URL
  • Toggle Status: Set project as active or inactive

Team Collaboration:

  • Team Access: All team members can view and access the project
  • Role-Based Permissions: Access based on team member roles (Owner, Admin, Developer)
  • Shared Development: Collaborate on blueprints and code development

Project Limits

Project creation is subject to your subscription plan limits:

  • Free Plan: Limited number of projects
  • Pro/Enterprise Plans: Extended project limits per team
  • Team Distribution: Projects are created within the selected team context

Required Configuration

API Key Setup:

  • Ensure your Anthropic API key is configured in dashboard settings
  • Required for blueprint generation and AI-powered features
  • Warning banner appears if API key is missing

Team Access:

  • Project is automatically assigned to your current team
  • Team members inherit access based on their role permissions
  • Owners and Admins can manage project settings
